Sarah began her career in the primary classroom, with a particular interest in child led learning and a holistic approach to education. Her roles have included class teacher, PSHE lead, outdoor learning lead, early year co-ordinator and SLT.
During Sarah’s time in primary education she trained as a beach school practitioner and forest school leader. Nature, both in education and in her personal life, remains a real passion for her.
Sarah currently works as a SEMH outreach teacher and wellbeing lead for Thanet, alongside the privileged role of nurtureuk Consultant. Both roles enable Sarah to focus on just how important it is to weave a nurturing approach into everything that we do and everything that we say.
Sarah is a mum to four children and also has two cockapoos in her family. She lives by the sea and are all at their happiest when they are on the beach.
