Awards

We offer two forms of accreditation in recognition of the work undertaken by schools who are working to develop a nurturing culture that prioritises relationships and wellbeing.

Implementing nurture at school can help to remove barriers to learning that children and young people face, as well as boosting attendance which can lead to better attainment and less exclusions.

The Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award and the National Nurturing Schools Award show that a school has successfully implemented nurture in their settings and that they have met the criteria set out by each award. Both awards are assessed against a set of quality and performance standards, using the Six Principles of Nurture and linked to the use of the Boxall Profile® assessment tool.
